For three seasons now, viewers have obsessed over the minutiae of Mad Men. The AMC drama, created by Matthew Weiner, has been a boon for all things 1960s and suave, from Don Draper's sleek suits to the pleasure of Canadian Club served straight up.
Now, fans can explore what music their favourite characters listen to by downloading Mad Men playlists right to their iPods. Put together by Weiner and a team from the show, the playlists, available on iTunes, help answer the question, "What would Don listen to on AM radio?" (Misery by Barrett Strong, anyone?) Seven of the main players from the series get the five-song treatment, including office maven Joan Holloway (Looking for a Man by Mable John), frustrated housewife Betty Draper (Connie Francis's Everybody's Somebody's Fool) and account man Pete Campbell (Bad Girl by The Miracles).
No word yet on whether there'll be more playlists for the rest of the cast, but Weiner and co. have already guaranteed there will be more attempts at the Charleston in between commercial breaks. For more information, go to amctv.com .
