B.C. woman dies after pulled from Lake Ontario Add to ...

An autopsy is planned today for a 78-year-old British Columbia woman pulled from the waters of Lake Ontario south of Picton.

Emergency crews were called to Soup Harbour, near Sandbanks Provincial Park, around 5 p.m. Thursday.

They say witnesses had already brought the woman to shore but paramedics weren’t able to revive her.

Her name hasn’t been released.
