The Vancouver Canucks' 2011 Superskills event at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Watch your favourite Vancouver Canucks – including the Sedins, Daniel and Henrik, Alex Burrows, Ryan Kesler, Roberto Luongo and more – as they go head to head and skate to skate at the Canucks Superskills Competition, where players vie for top honours in the fastest skater contest, the accuracy shooting challenge, the hardest shot competition and more.

"We all grew up watching all-star games and skills competitions," Canucks centre Manny Malhotra said, "so to be able to participate in them – and more importantly to have bragging rights in the room – that's fun for us."

Arrive a little early and you can also watch a Canucks alumni game, meet Fin and other NHL mascots, and receive a team photo card. All funds raised go to Canucks for Kids and the NHLPA Goals and Dreams Fund.

So who are the players to beat? "Mason Raymond has fastest skater two years in a row – he and Jannik Hansen go at it pretty good," said Mr. Malhotra, whose own strong suit is the obstacle relay. "Danny [Sedin]is our accuracy shooting winner. Hardest shot always comes down to [Alex]Edler or [Sami]Salo, so that's a heated competition. And then the breakaway relay is anybody's game."

The Canucks Superskills Competition happens Sunday at GM Place. For tickets, visit ticketmaster.ca/skills; for more info, go to canucks.nhl.com.
