Drive-by shooting in Delta could be latest gang flare-up Add to ...

Police in Delta, B.C., believe they are dealing with the latest gang shooting in Metro Vancouver.

Staff Sgt. Harj Sidhu says a Mercedes Benz SUV was peppered with bullets in an apparently targeted attack.

The incident occurred at around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

No one was hurt but Sgt. Sidhu says one of the people in the SUV is known to police and has some connection to gang activity.

He says officers are now looking for a red sports car with a red spoiler.

Someone in the sports car opened fire on the moving SUV as both vehicles were driving in the 9200 block of 114 Street.
