Local and national mountain-bike freeriders took part in the wild and competitive invitational Jump Ship event at Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria, on Oct. 3-5. Riders dropped into a natural wilderness of obstacles, and 40-foot gap jumps over a boat and golf cart pathways, to push themselves to the limit for a chance at $6,000 in prize money.
