The Eastside Stride program was developed by Vancouver’s Union Gospel Mission and features community guides who take small groups on walking tours of the Downtown Eastside. The program aims to build understanding and awareness of social and community issues in the neighbourhood and was timed to dovetail with the city’s Homelessness Action Week.
