The RCMP in Surrey say they have found a 12-year-old boy who was reported missing Thursday afternoon.
Mounties had asked the public for help finding the boy after his parents reported him missing.
RCMP said the boy had an argument with his parents and left home upset, and they thought he went to a friend's house.
But when he didn't return home, his parents went out searching for him and called police when they couldn't find him.
Mounties announced Friday morning the boy had been found safe.
No further details were released.
