Move death from hospitals back into the community Add to ...

Gay Klietzke, executive director of the Vancouver Hospice Society, has One Big Idea- to make Vancouver a better city: Create neighborhood hospices - at least four across Vancouver - to take death out of hospitals and bring it back to the community.

Where would you rather die - at home or in hospital? Are you concerned about how to take care of an elderly or sick loved one at home? Do you feel a hospice would provide a better solution?

Ms. Klietzke joined Globe reporter Ian Bailey earlier in a live discussion, which you can read below.
