Vancouver police are investigating a possible hit-and-run incident at the Shangri-la hotel involving actor Ryan Reynolds.

The Vancouver-born star, in town to shoot Deadpool, was reportedly hit by a car in the hotel's parking lot Friday in the late afternoon or early evening, spokesperson Constable Brian Montague said Sunday.

He was uninjured in the incident and it is unknown whether the actor or someone else reported it to police, Const. Montague said via email.

"I don't know where it is at with confirming the driver ID, locating him, speaking with him or deciding if charges are appropriate," Mr. Montague said.

Mr. Reynolds was not immediately available for comment.
