Witness North America's third largest gathering of bald eagles as they feed on thousands of spawning salmon at the Fraser River Bald Eagle Festival, a weekend-long celebration of B.C.'s most majestic raptors.
Activities include jet boat eco-tours of the Fraser, guided walks by eagle aficionados, First Nations arts and dance, kids' activities, talks about how to up the avian count in your own back yard and more – as well as some of the best wildlife viewing in the province.
Then once you work up an appetite, make like the eagles and enjoy a salmon lunch – with "bannock taco option" – as you soak up views of the beautiful Chehalis River.
