Victim identified in Langley New Year’s Eve homicide Add to ...

A 40-year-old Cloverdale resident has been identified as the man killed in Langley on New Year’s Eve day.

Homicide investigators say Cole Adam Manning was found dead at a Langley home. Police haven’t said how he died.

A 24-year-old man described as a friend of the victim was picked up about two hours after the body was found in the home on Monday morning.

Jason Terrence Brewer is charged with second-degree murder.

He is due to appear in a Surrey courtroom Wednesday afternoon.
