The man accused of beheading a fellow Greyhound bus passenger is having his case moved to Winnipeg from Portage la Prairie.
Vince Li is charged with second-degree murder in the death last July of Tim McLean.
He has chosen to have a judge hear the trial without a jury.
Mr. Li's lawyer, Alan Libman, says the case is being moved because of death threats that have been made against his client.
Mr. Libman says security will be much better at Winnipeg Court of Queen's Bench than the Portage courthouse.
Mr. Li has not yet entered a plea and is to appear in Winnipeg court on Dec. 10.
