THIS WEEKEND

Sunday: The first annual Trek for Tourette will be launched at Erindale Park in Mississauga, with eight other communities participating, cross-country. This 5K walk/run/trek — rain or shine — on the path that runs alongside the Credit River is in support of the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada. March, a wintry month, was chosen so that the trek would be as challenging as the lives of people affected by TS.

Start and location: 2 p.m., 1695 Dundas St. W., west parking lot
