Police are trying to locate Pierre Parkinson, a 41-year-old Vancouver business executive who went missing Sunday night.
Constable Lindsey Houghton, of the Vancouver Police Department, said “there is no reason to suspect foul play,” but Mr. Parkinson's family is worried about his emotional state.
In a missing person bulletin the VPD ask anyone who locates Mr. Parkinson to “please stay with him and call 911 immediately.”
Mr. Parkinson is the former Vice-President of Marketing and Business Development, in Vancouver, for Avigilon, an international company that specializes in high definition surveillance systems.
An Avigilon spokesperson said Mr. Parkinson had left the company to take a position with another British Columbia firm that provides data management for biomedical research labs.
Police said Mr. Parkinson was last seen leaving his home on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT.
Police describe Mr. Parkinson as: white, 41 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 150 lbs., with a slender build. He has short salt-and-pepper hair and green eyes. He was wearing a white tuque with a blue stripe, a navy-coloured hip-length winter jacket, a black fleece shirt, blue jeans and grey Helly Hansen sneakers.
