N.B. teens face sentencing after causing unholy mess Add to ...

Two teenagers will be sentenced next week for breaking into and vandalizing a New Brunswick church, including urinating in a baptismal font.

One youth pleaded guilty last month while the second changed his plea to guilty in youth court as his trial was to begin Wednesday.

The break-in at All Saints Anglican Church in Jeffries Corner occurred Nov. 17. It cost $10,000 to clean up the mess.

Religious items were burned and broken, a large window and light fixtures were smashed, the kitchen and Sunday school area were ransacked, and a CD player was stolen and later recovered. The teenagers also became drunk on communion wine.
