Innovators wanted: The latest technology has been more disruptive to classrooms than the overhead projector ever was - but some teachers are not only embracing new tools and teaching methods, they’re going further to press the “reset” button on the classroom, reinventing the future of education. We want to hear about those pioneers. The ones with big ideas, or who are driving micro-marvels in their schools.
We’re interested in success stories, of course, but also smart failed attempts that raise important questions and challenge us to rethink what teaching and schools are all about.
And we need you! Please submit a short note on the teachers you think deserve to be called “Globe innovators” to us by November 21st.
Submissions should outline who the teachers are, where they teach, the size of their class, its age group and a few notes on what they’re doing that’s innovative. Length should be 300 words.
