A diver who spent more than 30 years promoting the wreck of the Empress of Ireland near Rimouski, Que., as a Canadian heritage site is attempting to sell most of the ship's artifacts to a dealer in the United States.
The deal, valued at $1.5-million (U.S.), has drawn criticism from those who want to keep the collection in Quebec. CP
