RCMP in Nova Scotia are investigating after a burnt body was found at the entrance of a provincial park.
Sgt. Alain LeBlanc says officers responded to a 911 call around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday after the body was discovered by someone walking their dog at Oakfield Provincial Park in Grand Lake, about 35 kilometres north of Halifax.
LeBlanc says when officers arrived, they found a male body that had been burnt.
Police are treating the death as suspicious.
LeBlanc says the body has been removed from the scene and an autopsy will be conducted on Thursday.
He says the park will remain closed overnight Wednesday and into Thursday as police and the medical examiner’s office investigates.Report Typo/Error
