Another Quebec cyclist killed on highway Add to ...

Another cyclist has lost his life on one of Quebec's highways.

A 57-year-old man died after being hit by a car Saturday evening near Val-Morin, Que., some 90 kilometres northwest of Montreal.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. on the shoulder of Highway 117.

Quebec provincial police say the driver will be charged with impaired driving causing death.

On Friday, three cyclists were killed and three others injured in Quebec when a pick-up truck plowed into them as they made their way to a triathlon training session.
