The RCMP has decided to launch a full investigation into a car-sale scandal at ICBC.

A complaint regarding the sale of vehicles repaired at the corporation's research and training facility in Burnaby was made to the RCMP on April 4.

Rebuilt cars from the facility were sold without proper disclosure of their history, in some cases to ICBC employees in auctions that may have been rigged.
