Police say a western Quebec student found murdered in Gatineau Park suffered serious head trauma.

Gatineau police say they have no other details to divulge on the slaying of Valerie Leblanc.

The 18-year-old student was found in a wooded area behind the college where she was a student.

Police say four people they've spoken to in a parallel investigation might be charged with obstructing justice and causing an indignity to a body.

No arrests have been made in either probe.

Passersby found Ms. Leblanc beaten and burned on Tuesday in Gatineau Park, just across the river from Ottawa.
