As part of The Globe's Immigrant Answer series, East Asia correspondent Mark MacKinnon has written about Canada's shifting image in China.

"Canada is increasingly considered by many Chinese more as a great place to retire than work," Mr. MacKinnon wrote in one recent piece and in Monday's Globe he reported on the return of many expatriates to China from Canada.
