A Google screengrab shows Herschel, Sask.Google Maps

RCMP dogs trained to look for bodies have failed to turn up any sign of a missing Saskatchewan woman.

Mounties brought in the so-called cadaver dogs from Calgary last weekend to look for Carol King, the 40-year-old Herschel-area resident who hasn't been seen since Aug. 6.

Natalie Grey, an RCMP spokeswoman, says the search involving the canines was completed Monday afternoon with no results.

Ms. Grey says police are now urging residents of the Herschel area to be on the lookout for anything suspicious.

Mounties are calling Ms. King's disappearance suspicious, but they have not revealed what led them to draw that conclusion.

A friend of Ms. King has said the woman was heading to Rosetown to give a statement to police about being harassed when she went missing.
