Provincial police say two people have been shot in Bracebridge.

Police say they got the call to a home [on Golf Course Road] just before 4 p.m. on Friday.

One person was without vital signs, and the other person – also without vital signs – has been transported to Bracebridge Hospital.

Police say the safety of residents in the area is not a concern.
