Shirley Carter has lived in The Junction for most of her life, seeing it change from a community of young families and trendy shops to a struggling neighbourhood depleted, in part, by the rise of big malls. Today, The Junction is experiencing a rebirth, and is once again home to a vibrant community. The area surrounding Dundas West and Quebec Avenue is one of five neighbourhoods to watch next year.
