Sister Sudha Varghese founded two residential schools in India for Mushahar girls, the lowest rung of India's caste system. She recently opened a second school in Gaya, India, because of a lack of education among a large Mushahar population. Her two schools now house 225 girls and offer food, shelter, education and a chance for a better life.
