The Don Jail was home to provincial offenders from 1858 to 1977. Extensive renovations have made the building part of the Bridgepoint Hospital complex, while preserving aspects of the Victorian prison. Marian Walsh, CEO of Bridgepoint Health, says the renovation turned the building "from a place of incarceration to innovation." For the full story, see the related link below.
