The confidence motion Add to ...

The Liberals have agreed on the wording of Thursday's no-confidence motion. It will read: "That this House has lost confidence in the government."

The NDP is expected to vote against the Liberal motion, which would defeat the motion and keep the minority Conservative government in office.

UPDATE NDP officials say that while they will not support the Liberal motion, they have yet to decide whether they will vote against it or simply abstain from voting.
