"Belittling images are not fair game" - Stephen Harper For 20 months, the only images on the Conservative Party's website have been belittling images of Stephane Dion. They then created special websites with more belittling images of Stephane Dion. If Stephen Harper doesn't know this then he literally has never visited his party's website before. But you know what, who cares. That's silly, cheap politics - which may be the only way Harper knows how to play it - but it is what it is. I'm not whining about that. Nope. Appology was nice, but didn't matter. There is something still on the website that is revolting, however. There's still a picture and video on notaleader.ca of Michael Ignatieff shooting Stephane Dion with a gun, taking a video of Michael out of context to imply he intends to literally shoot and kill Dion. It's not funny nor is it clever. The PM blamed an over-eager web guy today and you know what, if it was only the stupid puffin then I would buy it. This isn't an accident and you can't blame a pimply 19-year old for it. The gun video is beyond the pale....the entire site will be down soon and the Conservative War Room should be ashamed of themselves. A leader would take responsibility for what comes out of his war room. Will see what Stephen has to say about the Ignatieff video.
