Yesterday, Michael Ignatieff gives what's billed as a major speech on clean energy. A key component of the speech is a plan to "invest aggressively in emerging technologies that clean our fossil fuels, such as carbon capture and sequestration."

Today, Stephen Harper announces an actual aggressive investment in a carbon capture project being built by TransAlta.
