On Wednesday night, the House of Commons voted on a private member's motion requesting Parliament study when life begins. Rona Ambrose, the minister of state for the status of women and the public works minister, voted in favour of Wednesday's failed motion to study the legal rights of the fetus, sparking a torrent of criticism from pro-choice Canadians.
