Jobs.ca relaunches

Globe and Mail Update

The Jobs.ca website, in operation for the past five years under the slogan Keeping Canada Employed, has been relaunched with updated new Internet technology. The site is a project division of Domed Technologies, Inc., and has been built to facilitate the communication between 300,000 job seekers and 2,800 prospective employers.

Jobs.ca posts and advertises openings in companies involved in a wide range of industries and matches them up with individuals.

The membership fee structure is based on a one-year employer's subscription for the amount of $499. It includes unlimited job postings for the year, with each posting expiring after 30 days. There is no fee for the job seekers and they have full access to search for jobs and post their resume.

A French version of the site will be uploaded April 15, under the name www.emplois.ca.
