An anti-hate group is alarmed about a spate of Farsi-language, hate-mongering websites being hosted on Canadian Internet servers.
Leo Adler, a director with the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre for Holocaust Studies, said yesterday he has written to police and Internet service providers about several such sites in recent weeks. Mr. Adler said he fears the Iranian government may be backing these sites, which promote Nazi views and make appeals for suicide bombers.
