TORONTO, March 1— Rogers Cable has announced it will offer its internet customers Really Simple Syndication (RSS) technology to customize content and make their on-line experience easier and more flexible. Rogers Yahoo Hi-Speed Internet offers RSS integration on the Rogers Yahoo Hi-Speed Internet portal homepage.
RSS is a web syndication protocol used by news websites and blogs that allows content from sites to be delivered directly to your Internet home page. Headlines and links to articles appear in one central location on-line.
Content sources range from the smallest blogs to major media outlets such as BBC, Financial Times, CBS Marketwatch, Sports Illustrated, CBC, Canadian Press and About.com.
