Vonage Canada has announced the availability of local numbers in Brampton and Mississauga, Ont. Residents of the two cities have always been able to use Vonage for local and long distance phone service but they had to choose an area code outside of Brampton and Mississauga. Now customers can keep their current phone number or select a new phone number local to Brampton or Mississauga and get great phone features at one low monthly rate with Vonage Canada's Voice over Internet Protocol phone service.

Residents of Mississauga and Brampton will get telephone features such as call waiting, call forwarding, call display and voice mail, as well as other features not available with traditional phone service. After taking in a game between the Brampton Battalion and the Mississauga IceDogs, they can call friends and family for as long as they want and provide their own play-by-play about the game with Vonage's Premium Unlimited Plan, which offers unlimited calling throughout Canada and the United States.
