Wally Trueman, Richmond B.C. sent in a link to an accident that appears to have happened between the time the Google car recorded Francis St and No.1 Rd. In this Street View scene, click the arrow to travel north on No. 1 Rd, and then spin the view 180-degrees and look at the intersection. The accident is gone.

Melanie Baker, Waterloo, Ont., found several co-workers returning from lunch who were apparently quite happy to mug for the Google car.

Google's car happened to map Toronto during the city's garbage strike. It passes Christie Pits in this image, capturing the garbage piles in the outdoor skating rink. What's funny are the words scrolled on the sidewalk in chalk: "Toronto Parks Are Not Dumps!" Eric Yerro from Toronto says he hopes tourists don't think these pictures of garbage are a representative snapshot of life in Toronto.

Dennis Edwards of Toronto sent in an image of him walking his dog, Nanook. "I remember walking my dog that morning when the 'Googlemobile' went by. When this software was released today I scanned my neighbourhood to see if I was in it. Lo and behold, there I am two blocks from home walking Nanook, who died nine days ago. Nanook lives on... "

Jim Miller of Whitby. Ont. and his brother were in the middle of chopping down an old maple tree on their property. Jim says that's his brother in the tree.

Matthew Page from Richmond Hill, Ont. got a kick out of this one. He sent in a picture of the Google car crusing down High Tech Road.

Joe Boughner from parts unknown sent an image in of a Tamil protest in Ottawa directly across from Parliament Hill. But move one arrow north toward the Peace Tower and poof, the protest has gone. Quite the trick.

Classy. An emailer sent this image of a man giving the Google Street View cameras the finger on Notre-Dame-de-l'Ile Street in Hull, Quebec.

Only in Calgary. A reader sent in an image of five women in short skirts, cowboy boots and cowboy hats. Must have been Stampede week. But is that an open container of alcohol?
