A 15-year-old boy charged in connection with a string of sexual assaults in Toronto’s west-end has been denied bail.

The boy, who cannot be identified, is facing 16 sexual assault charges and two counts of criminal harassment after several women reported being attacked since the summer.

In the majority of the cases, the women told police they had been approached from behind by an assailant who then fled.
