Toronto Mayor Rob Ford admitted on Tuesday that he has smoked crack cocaine.

Mr. Ford has been asked about his drug use ever since reports surfaced in May of a video that allegedly shows him smoking crack cocaine. The mayor tended to frame his answers in the present tense.

“I wasn’t lying,” he told reporters on Tuesday. “You didn’t ask the correct questions. No, I’m not an addict and no, I do not do drugs.”
