Man charged with killing brother in Toronto’s 29th homicide of the year Add to ...

A 38-year-old man is charged with killing his brother in Toronto’s 29th homicide of 2012.

Investigators say Winston Wright surrendered to police and is charged with first-degree murder the shooting of Clayton Wright.

The body of the 42-year-old was found in the parking lot of a soccer field on Tuesday night.

Earlier Thursday, police identified a man killed in a shooting on a school playground.

Daniel Davis, 27, was pronounced dead shortly after officers arrived at around 1 a.m. in Toronto’s 30th homicide of the year.

Police say there is nothing to suggest Mr. Davis’s death is linked to Monday’s shooting at an east-end block party that killed two people and injured more than 20 others.
