Provincial police say warnings have been issued to two salesmen representing a Toronto water heater company.
Police say they investigated more than 20 calls in March and April about pushy salespeople all over the Nottawasaga area.
The salespeople were going door to door in the Alliston area asking to check on water heaters.
A 19-year-old man from Mississauga and a 22-year-old man from Toronto were warned for being unlawfully in a dwelling place.
Police say homeowners do not have to allow salespeople into their homes and can simply ask them to leave.
If they do not leave, homeowners are advised to call police immediately.
