Toronto's bill for the 2015 Pan Am Games has nearly doubled, to $96.5-million from $49.5-million. Much of the extra cost is for cleaning up the soil at the Pan Am Aquatics Centre site in Scarborough. Some $700,000 of the heftier bill is for a newly proposed BMX course in Etobicoke's Centennial Park. Meanwhile, the province is expected to unveil a shortlist of developers this week for the Athletes' Village on Toronto's waterfront.
