Six teenaged boys have been arrested after a home invasion and assault earlier this week.

Toronto police say a 21-year-old man was approached by a group of boys last night while he was riding his bicycle in the city's east end.

The man was allegedly ordered to hand over his bicycle and was then followed when he tried to go home.

Investigators say the group allegedly forced their way into the home and both the man and his parents were assaulted.

Police say there may be other victims.

Six boys – aged 14 to 16 – have been charged with robbery and unlawfully being in a dwelling.

One of the 14-year-old boys also faces a count of assault with a weapon and assault.
