Suspicious death of three dogs prompts Toronto police investigation Add to ...

Toronto police are investigating after three dogs died amid suspicious circumstances in an east-end neighbourhood.

Police received a call from Greenwood Park Animal Hospital on Thursday afternoon reporting the deaths.

All three dogs were healthy before they were walked in alleyways in the Leslieville area.

The hospital says the dogs were vomiting and having convulsions and seizures before dying.

Police haven't said the dogs were poisoned, but they are investigating the possibility.

The animal hospital is advising pet owners to be extra vigilant while walking their dogs.
