A Toronto man has been charged with voyeurism after allegedly using security cameras to spy on people renting out his cottage.
Provincial police say the man used cameras placed both inside and outside his home on Chemong Lake north of Peterborough to record people who rented the property.
Police say they went to the cottage in early May after a renter discovered the cameras.
They say the found the cameras wired to a digital video recorder which was storing the activities of the renters.
Provincial police charged Derek James, 39, on Saturday with voyeurism and mischief.
