Toronto police say the driver of a truck involved in a collision that killed a cyclist will not be charged.
Jenna Morrison, 38, died last week after she fell under a truck near Dundas Street and Sterling Road in the city's west end.
Police say an extensive investigation concluded that the 55-year-old truck driver did nothing illegal.
Hundreds of cyclists rode along Toronto streets Monday morning in memory of Ms. Morrison.
A bicycle painted white was carried at the front of the procession.
In Ottawa, New Democrat MP Olivia Chow renewed her call for heavy trucks to be equipped with protective wheel guards.
Ms. Chow said she plans to introduce a private member's bill to make the guards mandatory on all heavy trucks across Canada.
