The two westbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard East reopened Monday evening after concrete fell near Lower Jarvis Street.



No injuries or damage to vehicles were reported, said Constable Wendy Drummond.



Officers and response crews were dispatched at 3 p.m. when police received reports of debris falling from the Gardiner Expressway onto the roadway below.



Toronto Transportation services spokesman Bruce Hawkins said a thin layer of concrete had loosened from a corroded reinforcement bar.
