Two teens were the victims of a double homicide that occurred outside a townhouse complex in the Toronto suburb of Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police have identified the two people killed in a Wednesday-morning shooting as Premier Hoang, an 18-year-old man from Brampton, and a 15-year-old girl.

Police did not release the girl's name because she is a relative of a surviving 20-year-old victim, who is also from Brampton.

Police said they are looking for at least two male suspects, who they believe targeted the victims. "This incident does not appear to be a random act," a police statement issued on Wednesday morning said.

The three victims were found inside a vehicle in a parking lot outside a co-operative home complex at  172 Centre St. E. Police say the girl was pronounced dead on the scene, while the two male victims were transported to hospital with gunshot wounds. Police were responding to a report of multiple gunshots.

Mr. Hoang died in hospital while the 20-year-old was still in critical condition on Thursday afternoon, Constable Laura Nicolle said.

Police are asking the public to help in their search for the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the homicide unit at 1-866-876-5423 ext. 7865 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
