A Toronto woman accused of throwing a cup of juice at Mayor Rob Ford last month will make her next court appearance on Sept. 9.
Twenty-seven-year-old Shannon Everett is charged with assault.
Everett did not attend the first court hearing Tuesday morning.
Her lawyer, Matthew Gourlay, who received initial disclosure, says Everett is trying to “get on with her life.”
Gourlay says she is uncomfortable with the unwanted attention.
The multimedia developer and yoga teacher is accused of throwing a cup of juice at Ford on June 15, during the Taste of Little Italy Festival in Toronto.
