A woman is facing charges after allegations a lunch supervisor assaulted five students at a Toronto school.

Police say officers were called to Essex Public School in the city’s west end during the noon hour Thursday.

It’s alleged that the students were assaulted by the lunch supervisor on school grounds but there are few other details.

Police say none of the children required medical attention.

Karla Martinez, 34, of Toronto, is charged with five counts of assault and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
