Bob Geldof & Ory Okolloh on the potential of Africa

The Globe is pleased to be hosting a live discussion on Monday at 9 a.m. ET with Bob Geldof and Ory Okolloh. They'll be discussing the potential of Africa and taking a selection of reader questions.

Bob is also the guest editor of Monday's Globe and Mail, and Ory is the guest editor of The Globe's digital edition, globeandmail.com. Both are outspoken activists about the future of Africa.

Bob is continuing the work he began with his celebrated Live Aid/Live 8 concerts through ONE, an advocacy organization he founded with Bono. ONE is backed by more than 2 million people around the world who are dedicated to the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa

Ory is the co-founder and Executive Director of Ushahidi. She also writes one of the most popular blogs in the Kenyan sphere at Kenyan Pundit. and is the co-founder of Mzalendo, a website that tracks the performance of Kenyan Members of Parliament.
